This week, the letter K!

This is how it works: Comment on this entry and I will give you a letter. Write ten words beginning with that letter in your journal, including an explanation what the word means to you and why, and than pass out letters to those who want to play along.

I got K. This is my sad little list.

1. Kettle - because it give me hot water for tea! Living without tea is unthinkable.

2. Kula Shaker - one of the first bands I ever fell in love with. Although I have misplaced their first album, which is appropriately named "K"

3. Kiss - do I really need to explain this? A kiss is a wonderful thing.

4. Kohl - a staple of my make up. It is very vain, but I would hate to live without it!

5. Kink - ah, I have many. And the most wonderful thing about fandom is that there is always someone out there that has written/drawn your kink. I love how kinks are accepted and celebrated in fandom.

6. Keyboard - bizzare thing just happened. I was typing about how I love my keyboard as it lets me communicate with you all, when it stopped working! I had to restart and troubleshoot. Spooky, eh?

7. Kabuki - I'm not referring to the traditional Japanese drama, but the comic by David Mack. One of the best comics ever in my opinion. Set in future Japan the worlds of business, organized crime, and politics exist in a delicate interdependence. The Noh is government agency that secretly polices that balance of worlds. Also, some of the volumes include art work by one of my favourite artists - Rick Mays.

8. Kilmarnock - a town in west central Scotland. My mother was born in a village very near here.

9. Kismet - destiny. I wonder if I have one, or if there is such a thing.

10. Kingfisher - the name of my patrol when I was a Girl Guide! Hee! (I was such a geek...oh hang on, I still am)
